This
transparent , fast drying primer seals unpainted drywall, plasterboard
and wall board. This product promotes an uniform finish and increases
the coverage of the paint.
Where to Use
- On new or unpainted interior drywall, plasterboard and wallboard.
Topcoat with GLITTY Super, Ultra,
Economic,Avantaj or Sand Texture.
Preparation
- Remove loose paint, wash off any dirt and grease with detergent,
eliminate mildew stains with GLITTY Mildew
Stain Remover.
- Scuff sand glossy surfaces.
- Countersink nail heads, repair imperfections and sand smooth.
- Power wash exterior surfaces to remove chalk.
- Remove all dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry.
- Allow new stucco, plaster and masonry to cure for 30 days before
priming.
Application
- Use product when the surface and air temperatures are between
5°and 35°C
- Dilute the product with 20 to 50% water, depending on the surface
permeability.
- Apply two coats without allowing the first one to dry.
- Use a high quality nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an
airless sprayer.
- Coverage is .......square meters per kilogram for each coat, depending on
the surface texture, porosity and application method.
Dry Time
- Dries to touch in 30 minutes at 25°C and 50% humidity. Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in
higher humidity.
- After two weeks, cured paint film may be cleaned and scrubbed with a mild liquid detergent.
Clean Up
- Use soap and water.
- Properly dispose of all soiled rags and protect unused product
from freezing.
** WARNING! Removal of old paint by sanding, scraping or
other means may generate dust or fumes that may contain lead. Exposure
to lead dust or fumes may cause serious health injury, especially in
children or pregnant women. Controlling exposure to lead or other
hazardous substances requires the use of proper protective equipment
such as a properly fitted respirator and proper containment and
cleanup.
